An employee’s first few days of employment with Crescent School will normally include an orientation led by the People & Culture department and various other departments. In addition to completing forms for payroll and accessing systems and equipment, the orientation will guide an employee through the School’s mission, vision, values, and strategy. It will also include a tour of the facility, an introduction to fellow employees, and an overview of School events.
The orientation program includes regular meetings throughout the first year of an employee’s employment at Crescent and each new staff member is paired with a current staff member who will act as a resource and guide. All new employees are encouraged to use this orientation to the School as a time to ask questions and learn about the unique culture that exists at Crescent School.
