Estimated cost: $5,500–$6,500, based on a minimum of 14 students


  Qualifies for Duke of Edinburgh's Gold Adventurous Journey


Crescent’s Canadian Maverick Adventure

This specially designed Crescent program qualifies interested students for their Duke of Edinburgh Adventurous Journey requirements.

  • Oceanside paddling adventure on the Sunshine Coast
  • Visit a pristine estuary to learn about the
    important habitats of the Sechelt Inlet
  • Full-day dog-sledding and snowshoeing adventure led by locals
  • Experiment with glassblowing at Whitehorse’s famous Lumel Glassblowing Studio
  • Star gaze and view the northern lights
  • Guided Cross country skiing adventure along the Olympic circuit
