  • ARTsplosion

    Create, design, and have fun! ARTsplosion will strengthen campers’ artistic confidence as they explore a variety of art forms. Campers will stretch their imaginations as they learn about drawing, painting, crafting, and sculpture design, bringing home plenty of art to share with family and friends at the end of each week!

    *Please note there is no camp on Wednesday, July 1 (Canada Day) and Monday, August 3 (Simcoe Day). The price for these sessions is prorated accordingly.

  • Bakers' Academy *Manor Series*

    Be creative, learn new skills, and enjoy your tasty treats! Campers will learn all about kitchen safety and baking techniques, as they make their very own cookies, cupcakes, pies, and more. Programming will take a creative approach, encouraging campers to design themed desserts in a safe and supportive environment. At the end of each week, campers will take home their own chef’s apron and cookbook of recipes, encouraging further exploration in the kitchen with family and friends. Additional activities will include outdoor time each day, for traditional camp activities and team-building games.

    Instructor Bio:
    Mark Lozano is an Executive Chef with Sage Dining. Born in Toronto and “made in Italy,” Mark’s culinary identity reflects his Filipino heritage and the Italian culture that shaped his early years. His style celebrates authenticity and creativity, blending precise technique with heartfelt expression. While Italian cuisine remains his foundation, Mark’s versatility extends across diverse global flavours, allowing him to connect with people through food in meaningful ways.

  • Budding Architects


    Imagining, designing and building! Budding Architects engages campers in the basic concepts and processes of architecture. Campers will develop their creativity and imagination as they explore visual thinking, design, urban/environmental planning, scale, and structure. Campers will demonstrate their new skills using drawing, collage and modelling with different materials.

  • Comic Book & Manga Camp

    Draw your favourite characters using a variety of drawing materials! Comic Book & Manga Camp will explore gestures, energy, and anatomy of creating characters, in an environment that is friendly to all skill levels. Campers will explore drapery and how clothing affects characters, as well as analyze value and colour theory in drawing. After creating their own characters, campers will create storylines for their creations, while also learning about comic book storytelling!

  • Dance

    Experience the magic of dance and exercise your creativity! Led by Zachary Cardwell, a former company member with Toronto Dance Theatre and current faculty member at Canada’s National Ballet School, this program introduces ballet, contemporary, and creative movement. Dancing various styles, dancers learn to express to different music from around the world and set a clear foundation of healthy movement development. The week concludes with a joyful on-stage performance where dancers shine in multiple pieces they’ve created and rehearsed together.

  • Dance Intensive *Manor Series* *New Camp*

    Join us for an advanced creative experience! Dancers will train daily with a live musician, deepening their sense of rhythm and expression. The Dance Intensive will focus on ballet, contemporary, and choreography. A professional photoshoot captures each dancer’s artistry, while a personal camp journal encourages reflection and creativity throughout the week. Special guest artists will join us to share their expertise and inspire our young movers. The week concludes with a joyful on-stage performance where dancers shine in multiple pieces they’ve created and rehearsed together.

    Instructor Bio:
    Zachary Cardwell is a dancer, choreographer, and educator. A graduate of Arts Umbrella’s Post-Secondary Dance Program and former member of the Arts Umbrella Dance Company, Zachary teaches at Canada’s National Ballet School in the Professional Ballet Program, Adult Ballet, Adaptive Dance (for children and youth with diverse needs), and Young Dancers’ Programs, and has guest-taught at the University of Toronto, the Down Syndrome Association of Toronto, Canadian Contemporary Dance Theatre, and Assemblée Internationale.

  • Fashion *New Camp*

    Step into the world of fashion design! Campers will explore how ideas come to life, from initial sketches to creative creations. Through guided learning, campers will learn the basics of sewing and design visualization. Along the way, campers will develop hands-on skills with a needle and thread, gaining a deeper understanding of how garments and accessories are made. Fashion Camp offers an engaging foundation in design that inspires creativity, curiosity, and confidence to keep exploring beyond camp.

  • Landscape Painting *Manor Series*

    Discover the potential of landscape painting, using oil techniques! Landscape Painting Camp will teach campers the fundamental principles of colour theory and composition for painting beautiful landscapes. This camp will cover drawing techniques, oil techniques, and the use of textures and palette knife painting. Campers will leave the camp with newfound skills and an appreciation for the principles of design and the creative outlet of oil painting.

    Instructor Bio:
    Robert Simoni is an internationally recognized artist whose works are featured in permanent and private collections across Europe and North America. With more than 20 years of teaching experience in the visual arts, Robert has been inspiring students at Crescent School for the past four years. He is highly skilled in portraiture and landscape painting, employing a wide range of oil painting techniques.

  • Movie Making


    Stretch your creativity through storytelling! Movie Making campers will learn multiple filmmaking skills, and how to take an idea from the pre-production stage all the way to a finished product. Working in small groups, participants will learn how to write a story, create complex characters, and how to film and edit a short movie. At the end of each week, family and friends will be invited to view the finished movies at the Crescent Camps Film Festival!

    Tap your feet on beat! Campers will be introduced to the world of music from every angle. They will get hands-on experience with instruments, discover new ways to make music, and explore what music means to them!   • Nourish & Flourish in the Kitchen *Manor Series*

    Learn valuable life skills, understand kitchen safety, and enjoy your delicious meals!   • Theatre Arts


    Acting, writing, and improv!
    In Theatre Arts camp, participants will explore their creativity through singing, dancing, and acting. Campers of all experience levels are welcome to develop skills that help them become more confident performers, such as improvisation, stage presence, and what goes into creating a production. At the end of the week, campers will put on a performance for friends, families, and fellow campers to attend.

  • Theatre Arts Intensive *Manor Series* *New Camp*

    Immersive actor training! Campers who participate in the Theatre Arts Intensive will be immersed for two weeks in the world of theatre training, learning how to investigate theatrical text and developing a language of movement and technique to use onstage. They will develop an understanding of a professional rehearsal room, bringing to life a script that will be presented at the end of the two-week period. Campers in this program will get the opportunity to explore the roles that take place backstage, like stage managers, designers, and running crew, as well as participating as actors in the final presentation. This program builds on existing knowledge of the participants, and activities will be tailored to suit the group's experience level. 

    Instructor Bio:
    Meaghan Salmon is a multidisciplinary artist and Director of Sunbeam Theatre Company, a not-for-profit organization supporting emerging artists on their creative journeys, helping actors, directors, producers, writers, and technicians gain valuable production experience. Focused on all aspects of theatre (both on-stage and behind the scenes), Meaghan brings a wealth of experience to Crescent Camps, and hopes to inspire the next generation of creatives in this unique two-week Theatre Arts Intensive!
