Marking the Year of the Dragon

Lower and Middle School students and parents were treated to a spectacle of vibrant colours, rhythmic movements, and an energetic atmosphere to welcome the Year of the Dragon. Parents were invited to a tea reception before assembling in the Lower Gym for the performance. Two students gave a presentation on the holiday and its variations within different Asian cultures. Master Tang and his group of performers then gave impressive martial arts demonstrations, a lion dance, and a special dance with a bright dragon puppet controlled by a dozen synchronized performers.
