The perfect mix of fun, impact, adventure and personal development.

This trip will offer students an experience for “A Wilder Way to Learn” to enhance their leadership development. Students will explore the area of Gandoca, Costa Rica. This is an impact expedition that will nurture global citizenship and provide students the opportunity to develop cultural sensitivity, communication, conservation and community development skills. Students will work collaboratively prior to and during this trip to prepare themselves for a well-rounded adventure. Students will develop their understanding and awareness of the vast biodiversity, natural habitats, and natural resources found in Costa Rica.

Highlights:
  • Assist with the conservation of sea turtles that nest on the beaches of Gandoca
  • Contribute to a viable ecotourism program to empower the Gandoca community in Costa Rica
  • Participate in workshops on organic cocoa farming & Gandoca history
  • Try a Spanish language lesson and cooking class
