April 24–29, 2025

The CPA is holding a one-week donation blitz for new or gently used clean shoes as well as food items and basic essentials from Thursday, April 24 to Tuesday, April 29, 2025.

More information below.
The CPA is holding a donation blitz for much-needed food & essential items and new or gently used clean shoes to support two charitable organizations: Covenant House and New Circles. Volunteer parents and Crescent boys will collect donations in the Driveway Circle from 7:45–8:30 a.m. Don't forget to label donations with your son’s House. Donations will be counted and weighed for House points!

Food and basic essential items received by the Crescent community will be donated to Covenant House to support the city’s homeless youth.  Each day, up to 100 youth facing extreme life challenges visit the Covenant House drop-in centre for food, essential items and services. If preferred, financial donations can be made here.

The most-needed food and essential items include:
  • Non-perishable food items, particularly gluten-free and peanut-free items
