Crescent’s Good Man Video Debuts

“There’s never been a greater need for good men” is the theme of Crescent School’s brand campaign. It builds upon the 12 character qualities of Crescent’s Portrait of a Graduate and takes the bold stance that our mission to develop men of character from boys of promise has never been more important in a world that is increasingly volatile and complex.

As part of this campaign, a new brand video titled "Good Man" was released in September to complement the print ads, bus boards, and banners launched last fall. The video showcases what it takes to deliver our mission and reinforces that good men are not simply born but created. The video features students from all school divisions and highlights various aspects of school life inside and outside the classroom.

Lynda Torneck, Director of Marketing and Communications, points out that creating the video, filmed over four days last May and June, was a collaborative effort. “Undertaking a project of this magnitude requires the support and enthusiasm from many members in our school community,” says Torneck. “Ultimately, it is the boys featured in the video who truly embody the school's mission and are the stars. Their performances are very compelling.”
