Student life at Crescent is rich and varied, with many opportunities for students to get involved, find their passion, and work to make a difference, both at the school and beyond.

Outreach Overview

On a local level, students in Lower, Middle and Upper Schools are involved in a number of age-appropriate Sustainable Action Projects (SAPs) centering on environment, society or economy. As much as possible, these SAPs are linked to the curriculum, thereby allowing students to make connections between concepts studied in class and the real world.

Upper School students have an opportunity to actively participate in international experiences where they become aware of their role in society, and, more importantly, become sensitive to the needs of others. The goal of the international outreach opportunities is to spark a social conscience and develop global citizenship. Each experience includes pre-trip preparation and planning, as well as post-trip debriefing sessions and sharing through various presentations. All of the trips offer opportunities for students to develop character, strengthen their core values and gain a world view through which their role as a global citizen begins to take shape.
