Library
The Library at Crescent School is a large and bright space. It is naturally lit with one wall of windows overlooking Innes Field. It is a teaching classroom and a quiet work area for the boys in the Middle School and Upper School. There are comfortable reading areas with club chairs and a couch, as well as a Harkness Table teaching space. A lab of 6 computers is always available, and this is supplemented with laptops that can be borrowed for day use. A state-of-the-art Rover (a short-throw projector with interactive white board) is used for lessons and presentations. Re-organization of the Library has allowed a featured gathering and reading space for the Middle School boys. Home to the Crescent School Archives, the Library will be a hub of activity as we celebrate our Centennial Year in 2012-2013.
