We look for Boys of Promise who will thrive in our educational environment and who are intellectually curious, well-balanced and eager to learn.

Interviews

All applicants to Crescent School will receive an interview. Interviews are arranged once a completed application package is received. Ms. Alanna Sanderson, from our Admissions office, will e-mail you to arrange a mutually convenient time for you and your son to come in for his personal interview and a tour of our school.

Preparation

While Crescent is a uniformed boys school, we understand your son will have to return to his current school once the interview is over. We recommend that your son is neatly attired but comfortable. Whether he chooses a suit and tie, his current school uniform or simply pressed khakis with a plain golf shirt, it is important that his attire reflects who he is so that he feels like himself.

Formal interview preparation is not encouraged. To help ease any anxiety, we suggest your son think of three “Things about me.” His list could include accomplishments, talents, awards, heroes, etc. He may bring something to show (no living creatures, please) however, we suggest that it should not be so large that it could not fit in a standard paper lunch bag.

The following briefly outlines the interview process for each grade.
